Rooks Heath has gone international!

Merely a year after launching the virtual learning environment Canvas in school, Rooks Heath has already made waves internationally.

From speaking at the worldwide Canvas education conference hosted by the makers of Canvas at the British Library to visiting schools in the Netherlands to teach them how to set-up and use Canvas in their schools, Rooks Heath is truly causing a stir in the international community.

Speaking to an academic audience that consisted of teachers, professors, lecturers and heads of universities our very own Mr Ring (Music Teacher and Pastoral Head of Year 7) the man responsible for bringing Canvas to us, spoke about the huge impact and benefit that Canvas has had on the Rooks Heath community. Furthermore he discussed in depth how staff and students alike worked to build a system tailored to the needs of our college.

This month Rooks Heath plans to host a delegation from Sweden made up of teachers and professionals interested in seeing how Canvas has benefited Rooks Heath students and how they can learn from our example in benefitting students and proving once more that Rooks Heath really are forerunners in providing online education for students.
